Why Menopause Requires a Different Approach

Menopause is not a failure of willpower. It’s a physiological shift that changes how your body responds to food, stress, sleep, and exercise.

During menopause, many women experience:

I’ve been a registered dietitian since 2001 and have spent over 20 years helping women achieve sustainable weight loss and better health.

My work has been featured on CNN, The Today Show, and in The New York Times, and I’m the author of multiple best-selling books on nutrition and weight loss.

More importantly, I’ve worked with thousands of women privately, helping them move through midlife with confidence, clarity, and a healthier relationship with food.

How I’m different.

There are many nutrition programs available today. Most are built for scale.

My practice is intentionally different:

  • I limit the number of clients I work with

  • I provide direct, ongoing support

Many clients use HSA/FSA funds for my services — and I’m happy to provide a coded bill that you can submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement

  • Every plan includes weekly one-on-one Zoom sessions, daily accountability check-ins via text, personalized strategies for your lifestyle, and real-time support to help you succeed in the real world — whether you're traveling, dining out, or navigating family life.

  • Great question. Weight loss meds can suppress appetite, but they don’t teach you how to eat, think, or live around food. And most insurance-covered dietitians are overbooked, under-supported, and stuck following generic plans.
