This isn’t a meal plan you’ll forget about. It’s a partnership.

A Plan Built Around Your Life

No templates. I build your nutrition strategy around your schedule, your preferences, your hormonal shifts, and how you actually eat, including restaurants, travel, and holidays.

Weekly Zoom Sessions

We meet every week by video to review what's working, adjust the plan, and keep you moving toward your goals. This isn't a one-and-done appointment; it's ongoing coaching.

Daily Text Access

Between sessions, you can text me directly. Going to a restaurant tonight? Send me the menu. Having a tough day? I'm here. This is the accountability that makes the difference.

If nothing seems to work anymore, you're not imagining it.

During perimenopause and menopause, hormonal shifts change how your body responds to food, exercise, sleep, and stress. Weight gain despite unchanged habits. Cravings that come out of nowhere. Energy that disappears by 2pm. The approaches that worked in your 30s don't work now — not because you're doing something wrong, but because your body needs something different.

That's exactly what I help with. Not a stricter diet. Not more willpower. A strategy designed for the body you have now.

About Me

I'm a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 20 years of experience and thousands of clients. I've spent most of my career working with women in midlife who want to lose weight and feel better without extremes or rigid plans. I'm the author of Bread Is the Devil, The Wall Street Diet, and The Food Fix, and my work has been featured in national media outlets from The New York Times to CNN.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all. I believe in learning how you actually live and building a plan that works inside that life — not outside it.

Why work with me vs. an insurance dietitian?

You get me, not whoever's available

Insurance platforms assign you whoever has an opening, often someone just a few years out of school juggling hundreds of clients. Here, you work directly with a dietitian who's spent 20+ years helping thousands of women lose weight.

This isn't about meal plans

You already know what you should eat. The problem is what happens when you're stressed, tired, traveling, or staring down a bread basket. I help you identify your food triggers and build real strategies to overcome them, not just hand you a PDF.

Support doesn't end when the clock stops

Insurance only pays for appointments. I'm available daily, texting when you're stuck at a restaurant, checking in when motivation dips, helping you recover when things go sideways.

Yes, it costs more than a copay

If the insurance route worked, you wouldn't be here. This is for women who want behavior change that lasts, not just another plan to forget about.

What happens on the call

Your complimentary consultation is a real conversation, not a sales pitch. We'll talk about what's changed for you, what you've tried before, and what kind of support would actually help. I'll be honest about whether I think we're a good fit — and if we're not, I'll tell you that too.

The call is about 15 minutes, on Zoom, and there's no obligation.

Let's talk about what's going on and how I can help.

  • Menopause changes how your body responds to food — the strategies that worked in your 30s and 40s often stop working. I don't give you a generic meal plan and send you on your way. I build a personalized nutrition strategy around your hormonal changes, your lifestyle, and your triggers. We meet weekly on Zoom, and we text between appointments.

    This is hands-on coaching!

  • Both. Whether you're in perimenopause and noticing early changes — weight creeping up, sleep disrupted, cravings out of nowhere — or you're fully in menopause, the approach is personalized to where you are hormonally. Many of my clients come to me during perimenopause, which is actually a great time to get ahead of it.

  • Yes — and honestly, it might be even more important. Weight loss medications change your appetite, digestion, and how much you're able to eat. That creates a new set of challenges that most plans don't address. Without the right nutrition strategy, women on GLP-1s often under-eat without realizing it, miss key nutrients, lose muscle along with weight, and struggle with energy and consistency. I'll build a plan that works with your medication — so it becomes a long-term solution, not a temporary fix.

  • Not necessarily. Depending on your situation, I may suggest adjusting how much or what you drink, but I'm not going to take away the things that make life enjoyable. This plan works around your real life — dinners out, vacations, social events — not the other way around.

  • No, this is a private-pay practice and insurance doesn’t not pay for the hands on coaching that I offer. However, I accept FSA and HSA, and I can provide a coded superbill for you to submit to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement.

  • Yes — that's exactly what the free consultation is for. It's 15 minutes on Zoom, no obligation. We'll talk about what's changed for you, what you've tried, and whether I think I can actually help. If we're not a good fit, I'll tell you that honestly.

  • No. If you're hungry all the time, the plan isn't working. I use specific strategies to help you feel full and satisfied without relying on willpower. Most of my clients actually prefer what they're eating on the plan to what they were eating before.

  • Exercise is great for overall health, but you don't need to crush yourself at the gym to see results. Nutrition is the primary driver of weight loss during menopause. We'll talk about what movement makes sense for you — it's different for everyone.

  • Yes — and for what it's worth, I don't cook either. Many of my clients eat out, order in, or mix it up. I'll customize your plan around how you actually eat, not how some cookbook thinks you should.

  • Most clients notice changes within the first two weeks — energy, bloating, how clothes fit. Sustainable weight loss takes longer, which is why my programs range from 14 days to 90 days. The goal isn't a quick fix that bounces back; it's a permanent shift.

  • No. I'm a registered dietitian, not a doctor. I don't prescribe medications, supplements, or HRT. This is nutrition coaching — what you eat, when, and how to make it sustainable. If you're on HRT or other medications, we'll work around them, but that's not what this program is.
