Frequently asked questions


+ What are the underlying principles of the diet?

Heather believes one size does not fit all when it comes to dieting so she takes her general philosophy and allows the user to tweak the framework to work for them based on taste preferences, allergies, and lifestyle. In general she believes in reducing white, refined processed sugars focusing on whole foods-lean protein, fiber, veggies and fruit all designed to stabilize blood sugar levels throughout the day, decreasing cravings and overall appetite allowing the user to make smarter more balanced choices and ultimately lose weight. She takes the user through a blueprint where she trains them on each food category and the foods they can eat. Then she organizes the goals for the user and finally gives the user ideas for each meal- breakfast, lunch and dinner. The user ultimately has 28 ideas for each meal to rotate for variety but is encouraged to only select a few each week for increased success. Fiber and protein are key components of the program. Heather helps curate a short and long shopping list for the user to help fill the fridge and pantry with the right foods to be successful. There are specific brands with options to find similar brands that are available.

+ Can I drink alcohol while doing The Food Fix?

Yes. Everything in moderation though. Heather will suggest lower calorie alcoholic beverages and will recommend that you minimize consumption.

+ When does the program begin and end?

You can begin as soon as you sign up. After checkout you will get instant access to the complete video course, program guide, and shopping list. You can (and should) start right away. The coaching part of the program will begin on your kickoff date and last for 28-days.

+ What happens after the 28-day program ends?

You will have the option to join Heather’s ongoing maintenance group for $59/month to get ongoing coaching in a group setting.

+ Do I need a Facebook account to participate in the group program?

Yes. Because the group coaching happens inside of a private Facebook group. If you do not have a Facebook account (or are not willing to set one up), we recommend Heather's DIY program. More at foodfix.me/diy

+ Can I speak with Heather by phone before I sign up?

Unfortunately Heather is unable to speak with you one-on-one before you sign up. The Food Fix comes with a 30-day no questions asked refund policy. If you’re not completely satisfied with the program after you sign up, contact us at support@foodfix.me for a full refund.

+ Does Heather offer private, one-on-one coaching?

+ What do the private check-ins involve?

Each week, Heather will post a reminder for you to let her know things are going. This is your chance to tell her things that you might not want to share with the group. She’ll also ask you to record your weight weekly so that she can keep track of your progress. Weight tracking is 100% optional.

+ What if I don't like the program?

We get it. Not all diet programs work for all people. But you won't know if The Food Fix works for you until you try. This doesn't need to be a catch 22. The Food Fix comes with a 30-day, no-questions asked refund policy. If things aren't working out, no sweat!
